A near fine copy in a near fine dust jacket.
True first edition, first printing. The true, terrifying story of the Lutz family and the house they fled from 28 days after moving-in on December 18, 1975. Complete number line and $7.95 jacket price intact. An apparently unread copy. Not a book club edition, which is primarily what is available, along with later printings. Basis for the 1979 film of the same name, starring James Brolin, Margot Kidder and Rod Steiger, and 2005 remake starring Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George.
Near fine in like dust jacket, with some rubbing to corners and edges, light wear to extremities, and two small closed tears, one on upper edge of back panel and the other on upper edge of back flap. Otherwise a fine copy, far superior to what is usually found or available. Very scarce in its first printing state, and partcularly in this condition.
