An original screenplay by Andrew Birkin, based on the screenplay written by David Seltzer for the 1976 first film in the series, "The Omen." and the screenplay written by Stanley Mann and Michael Hodges for the 1978 sequel "Damien: Omen II." Noted on the title page as "Third Draft" and dated January 3, 1980.
Pages [numbered [1]-121] measure 8.5" x 11" in size and are "eye rest" green, with many pink revision pages dated 02/26/80 and a single blue revision page dated 01/14/80. They are three-hole punched and bound with metal pins in purple, heavy stock paper covers. The covers are typical Twentieth Century-Fox studio issue from this period, with title and company logo printed on the front cover. Title page included.
Released by Twentieth Century-Fox in 1981, "The Final Conflict" was directed by Graham Baker and produced by Harvey Bernhard. It starred Sam Neill, Rosanno Brazzi, Lisa Harrow, Don Gordon, Barnaby Holm, Mason Adams, and Robert Arden.
The film is the third in the trilogy, preceded by the 1976 Richard Donner classic, "The Omen" and the quite good first sequel, Don Taylor's 1978 "Damien: Omen II." In very nice condition overall, with only minor wear, and no handwritten marks or notes other than on the preliminary page (a quotation from Swinburne).
