Complete number line and $7.95 jacket price intact. Not a book club edition, which is primarily what is available, along with later printings. Basis for the 1979 film of the same name, starring James Brolin, Margot Kidder and Rod Steiger, and 2005 remake starring Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George. An apparently unread copy although with slight water staining penetrating top corner throughout; in a near fine dust jacket, with a small closed and open tear to rear of jacket at top edge of spine, closed tear to front of jacket at top edge, though not very noticeable, and creasing to corners and spine ends. Otherwise in superior condition to what is usually found. Very scarce in its first printing state.
