Basis for the 1979 film of the same name, starring James Brolin, Margot Kidder and Rod Steiger, and 2005 remake starring Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George. Fine in a near fine slightly rubbed dust jacket, with two very small closed tears, one each at top and bottom of spine and slight wear and creasing to edges. Otherwise, a superior copy to what is usually found or available. Very scarce in its first printing state, and partcularly in this condition.
