An original screenplay dated February 28, 1985 and written by Allan Burns.

Released by Orion Pictures in 1986, "Just Between Friends" was written, directed and produced by Allan Burns, also produced by Edward Teets, and starred Mary Tyler Moore, Ted Danson, Christine Lahti, and Sam Waterston.

The script is bound with metal pins in yellow heavy stock paper covers with the film's original title [Something in Common] printed to the front cover, title page and handwritten in black marker to the spine (the film was released as "Just Between Friends"). The title page is dated February 28, 1985 and includes the words "MT Moore / Sam Waterston / Feature" handwritten to upper right hand corner in pencil. Pages numbered [1]-127 are a rainbow of colors and include revision pages through 4/22/85. The screenplay exhibits minor wear from light handling and use, including light damp-staining to the bottom of about 10 pages (not affecting anything).
