Released by Universal Pictures in 1984, "Crackers" was directed by Louis Malle, produced by Robert Cortes and Edward Lewis, and starred Donald Sutherland, Jack Warden, Sean Penn and Christine Baranski.

The script is bound with metal pins in tan-grey heavy stock paper covers, studio issued with Universal Pictures logo printed to front cover. The film's title is also printed in black on front cover along with the date, September 30, 1982. The script is also noted as "Second Draft Screenplay" on the front cover along with the production number [02117]. Pages numbered [1]-132 are pale green and clean. The screenplay exhibits only minor wear from light handling and use.

An original early draft screenplay for the 80's adventure-comedy starring some heavyweights from the era (Sutherland and Warden) and a young Sean Penn. A unique item.
