The "One Right Thing" was printed in an edition of 800 numbered hardcover books, of which the first 125 were signed by the author. Of these 125 copies, the first 10 were lettered A through J and the remainder were numbered 1 through 115. The trade copies were numbered 116 through 790 and were not signed. This is one of the trade numbered copies, of which this is number 180. NOTE: although the copyright page notes that the first 125 copies were supposedly signed by both author Coville and the artist Omar, all the copies we examined on the weekend of issue were only signed by the author Coville. Our copies of the trade edition have been specially signed by the artist Omar Rayyan, his wife Sheila Rayyan (who did the cover design), introducer Tamora Pierce, and the editor Deb Geisler (in addition to the author Bruce Coville). These 5 signatures were all obtained in person on the weekend of issue at Boskone 45, the regional science fiction convention for Boston run by NESFA. Coville was the Special Guest for Boskone 45.
