There were various signed issues of the book; this is a copy of the trade issue, limited to 7500 copies, and is inscribed by the author to fellow horror writer Stanley Wiater in the year of publication: "For Stanley -- / a shaggy wolf story for Christmas!/ Stephen King/ 12/3/83." Quarto; Wiater's Gahan Wilson-designed bookplate front flyleaf; fine in a near fine dust jacket with a single 1" edge tear at the upper rear panel.
