Thomas Bailey Aldrich's copy with his signature and date, 1880, on the title page. From the "English Men of Letters" series, edited by John Morley. Bound in brown cloth with red lettering to spine and boards. With a few pencil underlinings and short, marginal notations appearing to be in Aldrich's hand, one of which is a full sentence. Minor wear to head and foot of spine and front inner hinge weak, otherwise a solid, clean copy.
