Inscribed and SIGNED by Matheson on the front free endpaper, "To Jack Cordes, / with best wishes, / Richard Matheson." News agency stamp to bottom of the front free endpaper. A very good copy, clean and tight internally with clean cloth boards, but with some dust soiling to page edges and light wear to board edges and corners, in a very good, price-clipped, dust jacket with two small chips to head of spine panel and some light rubbing, edgewear and soiling. A nice, presentable copy overall, extremely scarce in this edition and signed (to first fan, Jack Cordes, no less, from whose collection this book comes).
